How to File a Code Complaint
Gulf Shore Manor can continue to grow responsibly when we all work together.
If you see something in our neighborhood that concerns you as a possible code violation this page will outline the steps necessary
to file a code complaint with Walton County.
Click on the above picture for a direct link to the Walton County Planning Website.
Under County Code Compliance Click on
File a non-beach code complaint
and you will be directed to the page below.

At the top of the page Click on Services and in the drop down menu choose Code Enforcement, then below page will open.

Click on Item #1 to Learn about is considered a code violation.
Click on Item #2 to Submit a complaint.
If this is your first time you will need to register to continue.

You will need the address of the property you are submitting the complaint on. You can look it up by just entering the street name and
click on the black Find Address button.
Once you have submitted your complaint the only way you will know
what is being done is to follow it on the Citizen Serve website.
To do this you will need to go to the Contact Page pictured below.
Click on the picture below for a direct link

Click on the Search tab and the below page will appear.

Click on the down arrow in the File Type box and choose Code Enforcement
I have found putting in the address does not work, so better to use the parcel ID which you could find
on the Submit a Complaint page using the Find Address button. (pictured above.)
You can also find the parcel ID on the property appraisers website https://qpublic.schneidercorp.com/Application.aspx?AppID=835&LayerID=15172&PageTypeID=2&PageID=6827
In the Type box select Code Enforcement
In the Status Box you can leave it blank
Click the black Submit button

Code Enforcement Search Results Page will come up.
Click on the File # on the left side of the page to review the case documents.
